Co-op & Syndicate Stuff
Things to keep in mind on the topic of municipal cooperatives and intermunicipal syndicates. While it isn’t the answer to everything, I would contend that cities have much to gain from synthesizing market co-ops, strategic industrial syndicates and public interest development into resilient, circular local economies. Below are articles, pod episodes, video features and websites showcasing existing co-ops and syndicates. This obviously isn’t some silver bullet for all our problems, but it can be utilized as a circular and regenerative system of economics, effectively supplying goods and services, forming competitive worker controlled industries, and utilizing profits to fund intermunicipal and interregional solutions.
